Corporate Coaching

The Rosenberg Group combines the talents of two different, but complimentary business professionals. One has extensive coaching, training, organizational development and team building expertise; the other brings practical experience as a CEO and senior executive in international firms coupled with a hands-on background in leadership development, and long-time experience coaching senior executives, including CEOs.

There are several reasons why we believe that executive coaching represents a potentially significant tool for corporations, professional services firms and emerging entrepreneurial organizations:

  • Offers a “new” way of enhancing an organization or department’s overall strategy for building future leaders and more effective current managers — often the most critical management development need.

  • Helps current executives or those being groomed for higher-level opportunities within the organization develop stronger leadership and managerial qualities.

  • Creates a way for current leaders to explore and assess their own leadership style in private, personalized sessions, rather than in group training or by an internal staff member.

  • Provides an interactive method for executives with valuable technical skills to address interpersonal “style” or other issues that adversely affect performance or limit their ability to be promoted.

  • Offers a way for newly hired executives, or current employees transitioning to a new position to make a fast start, while avoiding potential pitfalls.

  • Creates a cost-effective perquisite for talented executives, who want to refine particular skills or who would like to explore their own personal needs and goals more fully and assess their own development plans.

  • Since one-on-one coaching can be accomplished via the telephone, it offers companies (and busy executives) a lower-cost alternative to more traditional training formats that require major time and budget commitments.

The Rosenberg Group offers four specific areas that differentiate our firm from others:

  1. We bring both a human resources and top management perspective to a coaching engagement. This allows us to offer guidance in such areas as training, conflict resolution, organization development and assessments, as well as leadership, supervisory skills, communication needs, client relationships and other managerial and leadership functions.

  2. We offer both a female and a male view of the coaching situation. This “consultative” approach often provides new insights that are useful to the principal conducting the coaching, as well as giving the corporation greater flexibility in selecting a coach for a specific assignment.

  3. We have formed strong relationships with coaches throughout the world to provide coaching continuity throughout an organization or to tap into the need for specialized coaching in a variety of disciplines.

  4. We offer our clients the benefits of team coaching. Where appropriate, this "two heads are better than one" practice helps create a coaching dynamic that can be extremely beneficial to the person being coached.

We also specialize in training individuals to become coaches. Our experience in mentor coaching offers our corporate clients the opportunity to work with us to develop their own internal coaching team, should they desire.

We have considerable experience with a variety of assessment tools, including DISC, PIAV, PCSI and 360-degree performance feedbacks. We also have access to additional assessments, as needed, including Myers-Briggs and The Birkman Method. In addition, we have customized other assessment tools for specific client needs.
